The Croatian festival will celebrate its fifth edition against the backdrop of the picturesque Gardens, in Tisno, and outdoor space Barbarella’s. As one of the best events on the European festival circuit, attendees can expect to experience a carefully-curated programme designed for music lovers.
In anticipation of its comeback, we’re launching Transmission to Tisno on crackaud.io – a series of b2b mixes from separate locations, featuring festival favourites and new artists joining the line-up this year.
It’s always exciting when kindred spirits unite in a creative capacity. This is because like-minded artists tend to play on each other’s strengths and utilise the shared foundations that make them such compatible collaborators in the first place. That’s exactly what happens here, as SPE:C boss Darwin links with London-based DJ and fellow sub-bass fiend Parris. Their b2b is expectedly heavy as they race through tracks from the likes of LCY and LSDXOXO, before meandering through misty-eyed vibes thanks to a touch of trance.
Darwin and Parris’ b2b was mixed live by Darwin in Mexico. Prior to recording, the pair compiled the tracks they wanted to use and made folders to share with each other “to get a vibe idea of what [they were] packing.” “I played the first track and we took turns selecting the tracklist one-for-one and Parris played the last track,” says Darwin.
