Wisdom Teeth boss and Crack Magazine’s very own Facta heads up this week’s Sunday Mix.
This year has seen the label boss push a number of ambient, downtempo releases via Wisdom Teeth, including Shielding’s Collecting Seaweed and Parris’ Terrapin. Now, he turns his hand to the decks for an ambient mix of his own. It’s a suitably autumnal offering, featuring tracks from the likes of Bullion and Mary Lattimore.
“I built this mix over a week or so in Logic rather than on the fly,” he said. “Lots of it involves layering two or three tracks at a time so the tunes re-harmonise each other. With clubs closed my favourite DJs have become Sara Mohr-Pietsch and Hannah Peel from Night Tracks on Radio 3, so this is dedicated to them!”
