Berlin-based selector Ireen Amnes first cut her teeth on London’s club circuit, refining her signature style of IDM, noise and industrial sounds. It’s in London that she later co-founded the non-profit collaborative organisation Under My Feet, and she uses her platform to helm workshops, such as a six-week Ableton-focused course for women and non-binary people at RAMP.
The London collective recently announced they’re launching a new label with a joint EP from Ireen Amnes and Kamikaze Space Programme (aka Chris Jarman). Entitled Unravelling, you can catch a preview of tracks from the EP via her Crack Mix. Moody and dark, Amnes’ mix veers through textured workouts and propulsive techno before unspooling into something more sublime.
