Opera Festival is the Italian music and arts event bringing experimental electronic, pop and local traditional music to the Eastern slopes of Mount Etna.
Held in the picturesque village of Milo, Sicily, in the area where renowned Italian composer, singer and filmmaker Franco Battiato lived for half his life, last summer Opera Festival invited a whole host of artists at the forefront of their respective musical realms to its ancient volcanic surrounds.
With the dates already set for its 2023 outing in August, we’re excited to be hosting a series of mixes from last year’s edition. For the third instalment of our series, Opera Festival’s own Cheval and Davo step up with a warm and blissed-out mix of downtempo electro cuts, techno and rolling house that has us dreaming of balmy summer evenings spent entirely on the dancefloor.
