Crack Mix 564:
Logic1000

House Tech House

Sydney born, Berlin-based Logic1000 is at the helm of this week’s Crack Mix. An accomplished DJ and producer with a handful of celebrated EPs who has already graced the stages of Glastonbury, Coachella, Primavera and Field Day, Logic1000 (real name, Samantha Poulter) steps into the mixing booth to provide some feel-good house heaven.

After a track from her self-titled debut EP was dropped by Four Tet in his 2019 Coachella set, Logic1000’s profile skyrocketed and she was quickly enlisted to officially remix the likes of Flume, Christine and the Queens, Major Lazer and Caribou, soon followed by her own Coachella set in 2022. Now the artist is breaking out with her debut album Mother inspired by the recent birth of her child; after a ten-month hiatus from touring, Poulter recently filmed a Boiler Room in Melbourne and is getting ready to tour again.

For her mix, Poulter’s mission is to raise the vibes — and with a juicy selection of groovy house tracks, that is what she delivers. On the mix, she says “I really went in on a house tip. I wanted to play all the original dons plus a favourite logic remix of mine to finish on.”

She continues, “This mix will lift your mood, I’m certain of it!”. Dig in below.
