Queer activist, producer and Oramics member Mala Herba – real name Zosia Hołubowska – heads up the Crack Mix series.
The Poland-born, Vienna-based artist has described their sound as “synth witchcraft”. It’s an apt description for a producer who’s inspired by magic, demonology and Eastern European traditional music.
Mala Herba – which translates to ‘evil herb’ – has created a live mix from their home. Lock in for an all originals mix, made up of unreleased tracks and music from their releases – namely, the Demonologia LP and Omnia Vanitas EP. It balances the tension between gnarly techno and enchanting ambient sounds.
