LGBTQ+ collective MARICAS were formed in response to the lack of queer-focused dance parties in Barcelona. Since their inception, they’ve gone on to host showcases across Europe, highlighting the Catalonian capital’s vibrant queer community.
Today they kick off their crackaud.io residency, launching with a mix from longtime resident and Mistress founder ISAbella. The Colombian DJ graces us with strutting electro, wide-eyed IDM, hefty breaks and bass weight. Look out for the instrumental of Snap!’s iconic Rhythm Is a Dancer in there, too.
