The Berlin-based electropunk duo, Mueran Humanos, is made up of vocalist Carmen Burguess and bassist Tomas Nochteff.
On their sound, the pair have coined their style of music as Rock Concrete – “musique concrete but without the academic side”.
On the mix, Nochteff writes, “Simeon Coxe from Silver Apples was a true pioneer and a hero of mine. Also my friend Sean Mc Bride (aka Martial Canterel) released a new EP with a song that I think is great. I decided to make these two unconnected events the centre and the inspiration for this mixtape of underground electronics and gnostic rock ‘n’ roll… The mix plays with a tension between claustrophobia and the longing for freedom that speaks somehow of our global situation.”
