Since its inception in 2015, Nervous Horizon – a London label set up by three Italians – has, in many ways, taken up position at the vanguard of the city’s club scene.
Drawing on the no-holds-barred energy of UK funky and grime, and combining that with the increasingly global sounds of gqom, reggaeton or kuduru, the label’s sound is fast, agitated and cacophonous.
Label heads Wallwork and TSVI are among the most exciting producers around in their own right. Put them behind the decks together and, as is evident here, sparks inevitably fly. Watch yer bassbins.
