The multitalented Sarahsson is at the helm of this week’s Crack mix. The Bristol-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, performance artist and DJ has put together 45 minutes of experimental electronics. Her uniquely positioned sound takes inspiration from the natural world, the destruction of binaries and her experience of synaesthesia.
For her mix, she welds all facets of instrumental textures and harmonies, combining harsh electronic and metal-infused sounds to create an orchestral symphony of eerie harmonics that leaves the brain as tantalised as it is enthralled.
She calls the mix: “A selection of things which have made me cry at some point, and two extra tracks which haven’t yet.”
