Studio Ghibli – Mixed by Ciel

With the release of every feature film and soundtrack to streaming services, beloved anime creators Studio Ghibli are once again on everyone’s lips.

To celebrate we asked Toronto DJ and producer Ciel to cut together a blend of her favourite soundtracks from the films, almost entirely composed by Joe Hisaishi. The result is a gorgeously immersive experience, one in which the beauty and simplicity of the Ghibli universe shines through.

“I found this mix to be particularly healing,” she told us on delivering the mix. “I hope to give the same uplifting feeling to the listeners.”
