Aldous RH has toured and played with a lot of bands: Conan Mockasin, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Drugdealer and his own former band Egyptian Hip Hop. It is under his current guise though that his talents truly come together, as on his LP Respect 4 Devotion, creating a loose and louche atmosphere of groove. It’s no surprise then, that his Sunday Mix is populated by some of the best to ever do it.
“For this mix, I’ve compiled some of my favourite demos, early versions, outtakes or unused tracks from some of my favourite artists of all time,” says Aldous, “from Aaliyah to Steely Dan, including one of my own stream of consciousness sketches.”
