Anna Wall is a DJ and producer based in London. In 2021, Wall – who is also a resident at Farringdon club fabric – launched a new label called Dream Theory. With a focus on healing sonics, ambient and experimental music, the imprint sees Wall exploring sounds that “connect to our conscious and subconscious mind”.
Back in March, Wall released her debut album, entitled Missing Moments, via the label. Four years in the making, the record features gorgeous ambient soundscapes and field recordings captured during travels to Spain and Portugal, as well as recordings from her London home base.
This week’s Sunday Mix continues on from the album, offering listeners an oasis of calm through tranquil selections, organic sounds and tracks from the likes of KMRU, Laurel Halo and Ana Roxanne.
“If I have a day off from the world, I will often escape for a moment and float away to ambient music. It’s definitely been a sanctuary for me,” says Wall. “The mix was influenced by some of the sounds that inspired Dream Theory, and my album Missing Moments.
