This week, London collective caroline take over the Sunday Mix with a 45-minute selection of warm, reflective tracks made for a weekend spent with loved ones. With a UK and EU tour on the horizon for the eight-piece in 2026, the mix is an immersive slow-build designed for melancholic days indulging in the calm before the storm. Lean back and listen.
Who: caroline. (Questions answered by founding member Casper Hughes.)
What: Broken, euphoric, unified.
Where: In my living room in London.
What’s your ideal Sunday? Ensconced in a pub or living room with friends and family.
And what’s your ideal soundtrack to it? Anything beautiful and profound. It’s the most melancholic day of the week!
How do you like to unwind away from music? Music is the unwinding away from the job and childcare.
Describe your Sunday mix: I hope it taps into that very specific, contemplative Sunday feeling when emotions are more on the surface and love for friends and family flows freely.
caroline play this year’s edition of Full of Lava, which takes place from 20-23rd November in Bern, Switzerland
