Multi-faceted artist and producer Contour comes through for our Sunday Mix series with an hour of soulful and psych-tinged listening. Across the mix, which features tracks by keiyaA, cktrl and Minnie Riperton, the South Carolina musician delves into his latest record Onwards! – which was released through Touching Bass – as well as bringing a selection of feel-good tunes.
“This mix has two acts,” Contour says. “In the first, we explore the poetic world of my new record Onwards! in conversation with poets and songwriters whose approaches have either inspired mine or feel complementary. The second act is good ol’ pleasantries (more or less) in music form.”
