Lunch Money Life was born when band-member Spencer Martin started a job as an organ player in an East London church. As well as granting Martin and co vital rehearsal time, the space became the home for Church of Sound, cementing the group within the London jazz scene. With connections to Total Refreshment Centre and Touching Bass, Lunch Money Life are a pillar in the constantly-collaborating underground, as evidenced by The Comet Is Coming’s Danalogue’s production on their recent album Immersion Chamber.
Their Sunday Mix is as impossible to pin down as their music and shows, skipping through styles and moods for an expansive odyssey.
