Sunday Mix: Sequoyah Murray

Vocally sounding like Arthur Russell or Milton Nascimento, but also leaning towards the mutant soul of Serpentwithfeet or Robyn’s neon pop, Atlanta artist Sequoyah Murray is one you can expect to hear much more of in the coming years. His two records to date reveal an intensely inquisitive and exploratory sound, his wide-ranging voice adorning a thick melange of sounds and textures.
