Since 2015, Tom Blip has been running Blip Discs, a label that brings an admirable range of sounds and influences into its wonky palette. More recently, trips to Uganda have seen the label’s founder collaborate with Kampala MC Swordman Kitala for last year’s funky-indebted Kitala Beat and release a mind-blowing EP by Mubashira Mataali Group.
