It’s under his solo moniker that he released his brilliant debut LP Suggested Forms this year, which is filled with rubbery beats, syncopated rhythms and a playfulness throughout. For his Crack Mix, Tristan Arp has been thinking about world building.
“What makes certain music speak its own language and create its own little universe?” he writes. “I selected tracks that do this for me, and unreleased originals that aspire to, oscillating between dance and ambient forms, or sometimes landing in a sweet spot in between.”
