Spring 2023 is shaping up to be Tzusing season, with appearances at Manchester’s The White Hotel (where he’ll make his debut in the city later this evening at a party with the PAN crew), Rewire and Lyon festival Nuits Sonores all taking place in the coming weeks. This playful selection of hard drum, hip-hop edits and other dancefloor weapons plucked from his current club set rotation makes it easy to see why.
Born in Malaysia and based in Shanghai and Taipei – a location he and artists such as Meuko! Meuko! recently shined a light on through an electronic compilation released via his Sea Cucumber label – the DJ and producer is best known for deft and tenacious embrace of sounds and ideas at the pulse-startling end of the intensity spectrum.
