After the release of her debut album Untitled, the Melbourne-based producer heads up the Sunday Mix series.
If you’re not familiar with the producer, be sure to check out her recently released LP Untitled, which originally appeared on cassette in 2019 via Altered State Tapes. Here, a DIY minimalism and ghostly abstractions are anchored by the producer’s own haunting vocals.
For her Sunday Mix, the producer draws on a selection of tracks that contain meandering electronics and bird sounds. There’s also Francis Ponge’s refrain, “The land is coming back to me” in Elisian park stroll. Sublime and soporific, this is perfect for those hazy Sunday afternoon walks in the June heat.
