Abrasive, hard, but never gratuitously unpleasant, the music she favours as a producer and a DJ (as resident and boss at Boo Hoo or indeed anywhere) demands listeners challenge themselves. This is no less true of her Crack Mix, and we are inevitably bettered for it.
