Here at Crack Magazine, there are few things we respect more than true commitment to one’s craft.
So when Austrian DJ and producer Zora Jones, an artist who’s responsible for some of contemporary electronic music’s most thrillingly future-facing work, sent her crackaud.io mix along with a photo of her recording it lying down while recovering from a back injury, we knew we were on to a winner. “It turned out quite dancy considering how horizontal I was!” she told us over email.
Aside from the fact that it was created lying down with a projector beaming software on the ceiling, this supercharged joyride through productions by Zora, her creative partner Sinjin Hawke and other masters of dancefloor pandemonium like RP Boo, Gavsborg and Anz is utterly thrilling in its own right.
