We’re hugely excited to present the third instalment of the Metropolis Sessions – a new live session series recorded at London’s iconic Metropolis Studios, one of the best recording spaces in Europe. The series is powered by Sennheiser.
We’ll be using this series as an opportunity spotlight for some of our favourite artists, welcoming them to the studio to capture their sound through a world-class system.
17-year-old London rapper SL is in a different class. Having put very little music into the world so far and with only one written interview under his belt, the South Londoner has captivated audiences with a sound that exists somewhere in the orbit of UK drill. But SL’s sound is lighter and bouncier with razor-sharp hooks and an airy flow. This formula is summed up best in Tropical – a breakout anthem of the year which is currently sat comfortably with an eye-watering 11 million YouTube views.
