Metropolis Sessions 006: Col3trane – Roses

We’re hugely excited to present the latest instalment of the Metropolis Sessions – a new live session series recorded at London’s iconic Metropolis Studios, one of the best recording spaces in Europe. The series is powered by Sennheiser.

We’ll be using this series as an opportunity spotlight for some of our favourite artists, welcoming them to the studio to capture their sound through a world-class system.

This time, it’s the turn of rising R&B talent Col3trane to step into the booth. The London singer-songwriter-producer first made waves by arriving with a complete project, an addictive mixtape called Tsarina. Since then, he’s sold out shows across Europe and continued to slip out stylish, intriguing jams evocative of Frank Ocean with the confessional lyricism of SZA and the tight, ear-worm melodies of Ty Dolla $ign.

For his Metropolis Session, he performs Roses taken from his most recent full-length project BOOT. The track serves as a perfect introduction to his compelling sound.
