Nils Frahm at Funkhaus Berlin

The Hamburg-born composer and producer is known for melding classical influences and electronic production into minimalistic, but emotionally potent works. Originally the sound studio of East Germany’s GDR, the Funkhaus Berlin has opened its doors to artists and musicians, and Frahm is one artist occupying a custom-built studio in the vast complex – which he now calls home. The unique historical space is where the artist recorded his latest album All Melody, out now via Erased Tapes.

Frahm takes us back to where it all began for a one-off live performance, and deconstructs the creative process behind his new album.
