What data do we collect?
We log general information about your browser whenever you visit our website. This information may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit on our site, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on each page. Like most website operators, we collect this data to better understand how our visitors use our services, and how we may improve your experience of our website in future. We do not share data specifics publicly, but may disclose aggregated and anonymised versions of this information, eg. in website usage trend reports.
We may ask you for personal information, such as your name, email, address, contact details and payment details. We collect only the personal information relevant to providing you with a service, and use your information only to ensure the fulfilment of this service. You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services without this information. We will only retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with a service.
If you wish to have your data removed from our system, please email email@example.com and we will remove your data permanently from our database records.
We review our data annually where we cleanse our systems with any inactive data removed permanently.
Customers can pay to have Crack Magazine’s print edition delivered to their door each month. We collect full name, address and email address. We store this data within our e-commerce fulfilment provider Shopify. Shopify Data Processing Addendum can be found here.
Customers who have chosen to support the next stage of Crack Magazine by becoming a yearly or monthly Supporter will provide full name, address and email address. The digital service includes items which are posted out for new Supporters. We will email all Supporters regularly to inform them of new services which include the digital magazine, new events and Supporters-only offers.
When customers purchase items within our shop, any payment data will be held by our e-commerce fulfilment provider Shopify. Crack Magazine will collect: full name, address and email of the customer.
Crack Magazine uses Eventcube’s Ticket Mechanic’ to administer tickets (free or paid) to its events. This data can be removed by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will use this information to inform of new events and services which may be of interest. We refresh all events data annually, removing any data which is no longer active. This includes any dormant email address which will automatically be detected.
If you contact us on Facebook, we will endeavor to respond to your request within 72 hours.
