Anton Newcombe hassled by Apple

They’ve threatened to take his music off iTunes

Anton Newcombe has taken to Twitter to expose Apple’s bullying tactics. In a series of tweets he has condemned the ‘satanic corporation’ for threatening to take him off iTunes if he didn’t let them use his music for free on their new streaming platform, Apple Music.

This isn’t the first time a musician has used Twitter to vent about unfair tactics used by streaming services – Geoff Barrow also criticised the platforms earlier this year.

Apple have also been under investigation for ‘collusion’ against other streaming platforms earlier this month after it emerged they had been pressuring labels to choose Apple Music over other services.
