It will be the first of its kind, allowing people to experience club nights in fully rendered VR
Boiler Room have teamed up with the the VR delivery app Inception to design and build a ‘born for VR’ venue in which to broadcast Boiler Room events in virtual reality. It seems like the logical next step for the world’s biggest music broadcaster – they’ve always professed that their main aim is to allow people from far-flung places to experience club culture in cities that aren’t their own. Pulled off right, this could completely change the game in that regard.
The venue will be open for use as early as the beginning of 2017. VR streams of Boiler Room sets at the venue will be available through the Inception App.
