The grotty Leeds punks tear it up for Dr Martens in Wales
2014 was a hell of a year for Eagulls. From the release of their stunning self-titled debut album – our 23rd best record of the year – through to their breakthrough US performance on the prestigious Late Show with David Letterman (not to forget a feature and live session with Crack), Eagulls are taking their dense, reverb soaked post-punk across the world. Storming into Cardiff’s tiny-but-iconic Clwb Ifor Back late last year for a captivating set as part of the Dr Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour, frontman George Mitchell’s trademark snarl led the band through the unmistakeable clatter of Yellow Eyes.
