Go March – Rise (Peaking Lights remix)

Did you ever play Grand Theft Auto just to pretend that you lived somewhere as luxurious and iconic as Vice City’s 1980s Miami-esque strip? Did you ever watch the moon rise across the pixelated ocean, do a couple of doughnuts in your lowrider then go and flamethrower an ambulance to the ground just for the fun of it?

Yeah, uh, us neither… but if we HAD, then this Peaking Lights remix of Go March’s Rise would have been the ideal soundtrack. Propelled by thick bass licks, this re-work is filled to the hilt with funk, and while it’s undeniably danceable, the end result is strangely soothing – perfect for cruising the digital highway.

Go March are an Antwerp-based band who’ve been fans of Peaking Lights since the husband and wife duo released their psychedelic, dubby album 936. Peaking Lights love them right back, and have complimented the ‘great kraut trip’ of the original track.
