Foo Fighters have pulled out of Glastonbury

Reports are coming in that Dave Grohl is unable to play Glastonbury due to a broken leg.

The Foo Fighters, who were scheduled to headline this year’s Glastonbury Festival, have had to pull out after lead singer Dave Grohl broke his leg four days ago at a concert in Sweden.

“I’m really so sorry, guys. You know I hate to do it, but I’m afraid it’s just not physically possible for me at the moment” Said Grohl, in an official statement on the band’s website, “We’re doing our best right now to work out a plan, so bear with us. You know we’re good for our word. But for now, I need to make sure we have years of gigs ahead of us.”

Glastonbury have not yet announced a replacement headliner for Frieday but they have said that, “We wish Dave Grohl all the best for a full and speedy recovery.”

The band have had to cancel dates in Belgium, Edinburgh and London’s Wembley Stadium as well.
