The band member says there’s a “50/50 chance” they’ll appear on the new Late Show
Pavement member Bob Nastanovich has revealed there’s plans for Pavement to reunite for Stephen Colbert’s revamped Late Show.
In the Pants OFF! podcast, Nastanovich said “If we can get it all together, we’ve been invited to play on the new Colbert show in like September. So that might be cool. Hopefully it’ll come off, right now it seems kind of 50/50.
I don’t even know what we’re gonna play or anything like that, but they invited us to do it a few weeks ago and we’re trying to schedule it all out. Everyone else in my band, they’ve got kids and stuff.”

UPDATE
Well, you can stop watching this space, because Bob has got it wrong. Thanks Bob.
In a Facebook post, Pavement’s Bob Nastanovich has admitted “he probably threw a spanner in the works” when he suggested the band could appear on the revamped Colbert show.
“Pavement will not be performing on Colbert anytime soon,” he continued. “My bad.”
See the original Facebook post below. We particularly like the bit when he replies, “I suck. Sorry.”
