It’s been revealed that Kim Gordon makes a cameo in the new independent German horror film Der Nachtmahr. In the film, Gordon plays a school teacher in a scene where she reads William Blake to her class, and she’s reportedly contributed to the soundtrack. She makes a very brief appearance in the trailer, which you can watch below.
A synopsis for the film, which was posted by NME, reads: “Tina is a 16-year-old girl who seemingly has everything a young teenager could ever ask for. After a massive party one evening, however, she begins experiencing nightmares in which she is haunted by an unusual creature. As reality and dreams collide, Tina finds herself befriending the monster and forging a relationship that will change the lives of everyone around her.”
Der Nachtmahr has its international premiere at Locarno Film Festival this week. Kim Gordon released her memoir Girl In a Band earlier this year.
