The stellar lineup also includes Richard Dawson
Qu Junktions have booked in a thrilling lineup at the Arnolfini to light up the pre-festive season.
The always intriguing collaboration between Cairo’s Islam Chipsy and EEK will headline the boundary pushing event on 12 December. As Islam Chipsy mans the keys, a duo of drums will bolster a sound that straddles Egyptian classic traditional and unapologetic over-compression. Expect to dance like a possessed soul.
The rest of the bill is similarly exciting, with folk genius Richard Dawson tackling the genre the way only he can, Bristol’s Kit Wilmans Fegradoe experimenting with emotional minimalist undercurrents, and FatCat Records’ DJ Dave Howell providing the unexpected to the before, betweens and after.
