Shapes announce Halloween plans

Perennial Bristol favourites Shapes have released some exciting – albeit scant – details of their Halloween event.

Billed as ‘Club Lucifer’, the many-headed party crew have conjured up a Marquis De Sade-style spectacle promising “smoke, sex, cages, cocktails and more smoke” for this year’s event, which takes place on 31 October.

In addition to a broad musical remit and the friendliest, most up-for-it crowd of regulars in the city, Shapes Halloween’s success also derives from their inventive and painstakingly-sourced choice of venue. As per, this year’s location is a closely-guarded secret but given that in years gone by the Shapes crew have appropriated churches, cocktail bars and cemeteries for macabre raves it’s a safe bet that the it’ll be a special one.

Whilst traditionally the Shapes Halloween lineup has been a residents-only affair, this year the booking budget has been upped considerably with a very special guest flying in to headline.

If previous years are anything to go by then Club Lucifer is certain to sell out ahead of time. Tickets are on sale now via Crack and disappearing fast. Grab one here.
