Sònar Reykjavik announces first names

Iceland’s edition of Sònar has revealed its first round of names

18 – 20 February 2016 ushers in Iceland’s Sònar Festival that takes over the Harpa Concert Hall in central Reykjavik. The five-stage festival has the capacity for around 3,500 audience members who will be treated to some of the world’s most exciting electronic artists.

The first names confirmed for the festival include joy-inducing former Crack cover star Hudson Mohawke, the ever-challenging and intriguing Holly Herndon and Chicago club scene mainstay The Black Madonna. The rest of the bill includes Warp’s Oneohtrix Point Never and Squarepusher, and German techno master Rødhåd.
