Brian Eno has bought Jeremy Corbyn’s trademark hat

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has sold his trademark hat to none other than Brian Eno

The Daily Mail have reported that ambient composer and former Roxy Music member Brian Eno has forked out £250 for Jeremy Corbyn’s “trademark black Leninist cap” at a recent auction for the charity Stop The War. Corbyn’s links to the charity have been scrutinised almost as fiercely as is his dress sense but clearly Eno didn’t have a problem with either.

A guest at the auction told The Mail that Corbyn had arrived with his hat and left without it, saying “It was literally the hat off his own head.”

We just hope that Mr Corbyn’s hat brings Mr Eno untold pleasure and inspiration in all of his future endeavours even if we will miss seeing atop Corbyn’s bonce.

As a special treat you can take a look at a picture of Jeremy Corbyn wearing the hat in public below. Try not to well up, it’s in good hands.
