Big Mike has launched a campaign to make Shut Up number 1 this Christmas
Another year another curveball shout for Christmas number 1. Yawn, right? Shut up, this could actually be sick. Stormzy has taken to Twitter to campaign for his vocal take on grime masterpiece Functions On The Low – Shut Up – to make Christmas number 1.
Stormzy burst into the scene in a big way in 2015 with his showstopper of a video for Know Me From. He went on to keep everyone hooked when Shut Up dropped on YouTube later in the year and he’s been going from strength to strength ever since. He’s up against the likes of Justin Bieber, The NHS Choir and the Star Wars theme tune. Only time will tell whether Big Mike’s got the power to pull it off.
