Kendrick Lamar nominated for 11 Grammy awards

Kendrick’s To Pimp A Butterfly was Crack’s favourite album of 2015

Kendrick Lamar is in line to receive up to 11 awards at this year’s Grammys. The rapper – who also took the number one spot in Crack’s top 100 albums – is up for Song Of The Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Music Video and Best Rap Song for Alright, Album of The Year and Best Rap Album for To Pimp A Butterfly, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for his work on These Walls alongside Bilal, Anna Wise and Thundercat, Best Dance Recording for his Flying Lotus collaboration Never Catch Me, Best Music Video and Best Duo Performance for Bad Blood (shared, of course, with Taylor Swift) and he’s also got a songwriting credit on Kanye West’s All Day which has been nominated for Best Rap Song.

It’s a pretty impressive list that pits Kendrick against huge names like Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson and Ed Sheeran. You can check out the full list of nominations via E! Online and revisit our Albums of the Year here.
