Louis Vuitton cast Jaden Smith in their SS16 women’s campaign

The teen phenomenon features wearing a structured leather jacket, woven vest and embellished skirt

In a heartening move by the high-end fashion house, Jaden Smith has appeared alongside three female models in a selection of women-targeted clothing as part of Louis Vuitton’s SS16 women’s advertising campaign. Smith was revealed as the star of the campaign yesterday by the fashion house’s artistic director, Nicolas Ghesquière, via Instagram.

Smith has been photographed in gender-blurring fashion since 2013 and spoke about his attitude to fashion with Billboard back in March: “If somebody is just wearing something for the blogs, that’s really sad because they’re not living for themselves … I really look to see, do you care more about what other people think, or are you having fun?”
