Simple Things announce Moderat show in Bristol

The trio’s live performance on April 3 will coincide with the launch of their new album III.

Simple Things have announced their first live show of the year with Moderat, the trailblazing collaboration between Modeselektor and Apparat. The event will take place in the intimate surroundings of The Marble Factory a couple of days after the release of the latest Moderat album III.

The new album- the third in a series, believe it or not- is their first since 2013 and sees “Moderat’s maturation in modern pop”. The accompanying performance promises to eschew the austere conventions of live electronic music as the group temper their numerous club influences with live instrumentation and a more traditional approach to songwriting, with Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) providing the vocals.
