Dubstep pioneer Benga is set to release a new EP, Future Funk, in February
After a tumultuous two years Benga is back with a slice of hard-edged robotic electro. The London-based producer’s return comes shortly after he addressed his two-year absence from the music industry due to mental health issues but it looks like he’s ready to get back in the game.
“It’s been two years and I have grown a lot, and I now know what’s important: music.” Benga says in a press release, “I’m back and I think my sound is the most ‘me’ it’s been since Diary of an Afro Warrior and I’m super excited to play it and reconnect with all of the people who have supported me. Let’s have a good year!”
