The Canadian province of Quebec will welcome the next round of electronic music-based events
RBMA have announced the location for their next series of events and workshops: Montreal.
Having taken place in in Toronto, London, Bristol, São Paulo, Seattle, Cape Town, Rome, Melbourne, New York, Madrid, Barcelona, Dublin and many more locations since 1998, this will be second time the series has ventured to Canada.
The opening date for applications to take part in the invite-only section of the events has also been revealed as 18 January.

To prepare new applicants and give them a taste of what a day at the Academy will be like, RBMA have planned two days of lectures: one in Newcastle on 2 February, and one in Brighton on 4 February, both at 7.30pm.
Both dates will be led by Academy alumnus and Canadian native Lunice, sharing stories from his time at the Academy in 2010, and Todd Edwards, one of the godfathers of UK garage.
