Bristol house & techno mainstay Shapes have released details of their first party of the Summer, an ambitious joint venture with An Evening With.
The event takes place across Lakota & the Coroner’s Court, with Shapes hosting the lion’s share of the artists- Jackmaster, Tama Sumo, and The Black Madonna for her Bristol debut- whilst An Evening With pitch up with Move D in the Moon Club.
Each of the respective promoters are playing to their respective strengths, with Shapes adorning the club with elaborate decor and set design whilst AEW opt for a more pared-down arrangement to cast David Moufang’s skills in sharp relief for the duration of his all-night set.
The adjacent Coroner’s Court is a more on-the-nose affair with Blueprint Records releasee Rommek and Panorama Bar regular Tama Sumo. Support comes from a crop of Bristol collectives including Banoffee Pies, Soulworks, and newly-launched party Everyone Loves Acid by ELA303.
