The Canadian band are working on their first album since 2010’s Forgiveness Rock Record
Canadian experimental rock mob Broken Social Scene have announced they are working on new music for the first time in six years. The group Tweeted last night (13 July) that “It’s true, we are working on a new album.” before adding that they are will be playing two shows in the US, one in Chicago tonight at Metro in Chicago followed by another Chicago show later in the year at Pitchfork Festival.
So far the band haven’t announced the title of the new album or a release date but we’ll keep you updated as and when they do. Check out the tweet below.
