The two-part event, also planned for Cairo, is presented by Thirty Three Thirty Three in partnership with the ICA and VENT

Thirty Three Thirty Three have linked up with the ICA in partnership with VENT and University of Kent to present a festival that will take over the ICA and Cairo this September.

In London, the ICA will host four days of performance, talks, installations and workshops from the likes of Gaika, Lafawndah, Deena Abdelwahed, Karen Gwyer and more.

In Cairo, Beatrice Dillon, Amnesia Scanner, Sami Bahar and more will head up the Cairo programme.

The festival- which is supported by the Arts Council England and the British Council- aims to foster artistic and professional exchange between independent artists across the Middle East, North Africa, and the UK.

Masāfāt will take place from 1 – 4 September in London, and 20 – 24 September in Cairo. For more information, tickets and the full programmes, check out the website.
