One day later than, sort of, promised – Frank Ocean has appeared with something.
His website now links to a live video stream of a room full of desks of equipment. As it stands, Ocean is nowhere to be seen.
The stream apparently began around 45 minutes ago, according to Pigeons & Planes. This would mean that on California time, Ocean still managed to emerge during July 2016 by a matter of minutes.
We will update this story as it unfolds. With any luck, the Apple Music live stream will be the first taste of Ocean’s much anticipated sophomore studio record, Boys Don’t Cry.
According to Twitter, all that has been heard so far is a hum of white noise with the occasional cough. We’ll keep you posted.

Frank Ocean has now started lathing wood to a soundtrack of unidentified ambient music.
