The sister clubs announce their latest run of club nights for the rest of the calendar year
Oval Space and The Pickle Factory continue to consolidate their deserved reputations as some of the most respected clubs in London. With so many iconic spaces closing, and the breadth of exciting music on offer, the news is more than welcome.
Oval Space Music kicks off the new season on 21 October showcasing the heads of 3 labels/collectives at the top of their game in Pearson Sound of Hessle Audio, Ron Morrelli of L.I.E.S and Beautiful Swimmers of Future times. Lil Louis wraps up the run with special guests on 16 December. Look out for Space Dimension Controller debuting Fluorescent Trails Live on 11 November too.
The Pickle Factory has a triple-loaded birthday celebration lined up from 21 – 23 October showcasing the range of styles they champion. On night 1, Weval, Andre Bratten and others get the equipment out for a night of live music alongside DJ sets from Youandewan and Hidden Spheres. Night 2 sees Tikiman heading up a Dub Techno special with hardwax duo DJ Pete and Vainqueur seeing out the evening. Night 3 focuses in on the future showcasing Binh of Time Passages and the Melliflow founders.
Some other highlights of The Pickle Factory’s upcoming programming include: Sotofett and Dynamo Dreesen, Anthony Naples, Call Super and Bjarki. Live shows from Clap! Clap!, Scratch DVA and It’s A Fine Line are sure to be big ones also.
