Jenny Hval is back with a new album after last years outstanding Apocalypse Girl. Period Piece is the first single and has been made available for free download via Adult Swim’s singles series. This year’s series has been consistently on point featuring the likes of DJ Paypal, Blanck Mass and Vince Staples. This entry is no different.
Hval tours extensively this autumn in support of the new record including dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London on 17, 18, 19 October respectively. She has said Blood Bitch is “an investigation of blood. Blood that is shed naturally. The white and red toilet roll chain which ties together the virgins, the whores, the mothers, the witches, the dreamers, and the lovers.”
